What is the purpose of Share Your Story?
Behind every wristband, there's a story. The power of our stories lies in our willingness to share them. The Share Your Story campaign invites everyone who has been affected by cancer to share their experiences at www.livestrong.org.

What is the LAF going to do with the stories?
The LAF hopes to further promote survivorship initiatives in the future by uniting people in their fight against cancer. When we band together and share our stories, we'll help others learn from similar cancer experiences and show people they are not alone in their battle with the disease.

How do I share my story?
From the Share Your Story home page (www.livestrong.org/shareyourstory), click on the Share Your Story link to begin registration and sharing your story. Visit the page "How to Share Your Story" for complete instructions.

Can I contact someone whose story I saw on the web site?
If the person you want to get in touch with volunteers his/her contact information in the story, you can email that person. The LAF will not provide contact information for individuals who have not disclosed their information voluntarily. The Lance  Armstrong Foundation takes no responsibility in the interactions between individuals if you choose to contact someone directly.

Can I submit an anonymous story?
You must register on the LIVESTRONG website in order to Share Your Story.  Your name will be associated with your story.

Who can submit a story?
Anyone who wishes to share his/her experience can submit a story.

Will I be able to update my story once it has been submitted?
You can access and change your story at any time by visiting the LIVESTRONG website and logging in with your username and password.

Once I have entered my story, does it take a while to show up on the web site?
If the story has been submitted correctly, it should show up on the website instantly.

How can I direct people to read my story?
Go to www.livestrong.org. Click on the "Share Your Story Now" icon. Click on "Find A Story." Enter person's first name, city, country etc to search for story.
